Sewing and Sanitary Pad Project

A total of five sewing machines have been donated to schools that offer the subject of Fashion and Design, but had no sewing machines. With the help of Julie Phippen from Sewportive Friends, the Sanitary Pad project was launched in 2018. Girls are now able to make their own sanitary pads, which has reduced absenteeism. Sewing resources are donated on a regular basis to keep the sewing projects going.
