The Orphaned & Vulnerable Children Project

Our most recent project is to support orphaned and vulnerable children. These children are cared for by families within the village, the process being managed by the Ngwenyama Orphan's Trust based in Ngamo Village.  Currently there are about 100 children, ranging in age from age 2 to 16 being supported.  The Hwange Schools Project team send clothes, shoes, toiletries and stationary and pay for the donation of maize meal to the families who care for the children. There is a desperate need for more support for these children and teens.
